4 combinations of Protein Tagging:
This client wanted to ‘tag’ his protein (Protein tagging) of interest but was wondering which end of the protein was most appropriate to tag. He was also unsure as to how many tags would be better for his experiments. He could have gone randomly with one combination, for example by picking an available vector in one of his friends freezer (who never started like that?).
Instead, we offered him to generate simultaneously the 4 combination of tagging, not for 4X the price, but only for 2.5X.
The pictures show that 2 Tags were better than 1, and that C-terminal tagging was even more efficient.
In the end, we offered him to test and find the best suited tool for his system.
