Our startup specialized in genetic engineering provides an innovative integrated service for design and production of molecular tools for both academic and industrial R&D. We are contributing to boost research and progress in health and ecology fields. Our inhouse technology allows us to rapidly produce seamless tailor-made DNA vectors from DNA bricks only (no destination vector needed).
As part of an R&D project aiming at developing new molecular tools for gene therapy using viral vectors, we are looking for a young researcher holding a phD in biological science, preferably with experience in virus genetics.
To apply, you’ll need to have a good knowledge of molecular biology techniques (DNA vector design and making, RNA expression studies, NGS, bioinformatics) as well as cell biology and biochemistry skills (cell culture, protein expression studies, flow cytometry, etc…).
You’ll be able to deal with a project from initial studies (bibliography, feasibility, methods to use) to performing the experiments and then presenting the obtained results. You’ll interact closely with R&D and production team members.
Fluent English is essential.
We are a small (10 people) and young company. This involves that you must have a taste for adventure and teamwork in a dynamic and friendly atmosphere!
We are offering a permanent contract (French CDI) with a 33-42 k€ year gross salary, depending on skills and experience .
Beginning of the adventure expected as soon as possible, ideally in January 2021.
